Can Naturopathic Doctors (ND/NMD) prescribe medication?

Yes. Depending on the state of licensure, ND/NMD can prescribe certain medications. Please take note that NDs/NMDs have prescriptive authority in Arizona; however, cannot prescribe medications in Massachusetts.

PAY AS YOU GO payments are made online through our EHR system called OptiMantra in partnership with Stripe. You are required to add your credit or debit card when booking your appointment.  You are only charged after your appointment, and in cases where there is a No-Show (15 minutes after appointment start time) or Late Cancellation within 48 hours of your visit, which will incur $25 fee.PEARL MEMBERSHIPS are made through our partnership with Stripe on our website who accepts a variety of credit and debit cards and some instances PayPal.  You can claim reimbursement from your insurance using the superbill you receive after your visit. We cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse your visit or labs. If you have any questions regarding insurance claims and reimbursement, please contact your insurance.

Does the cost of visit cover labs and supplements?

No. The cost of visit is separate from labs and supplements. DeNANCEA has partnered with several labs to provide patients with affordable lab services. Some labs maybe HSA/FSA eligible. Labs may be covered by some insurance companies (Medicare, Medicaid, AHCCCS will not cover). DeNANCEA cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover labs, so it is your responsibility to contact your insurance to confirm coverage. Our dispensary, via Fullscript, offers high-quality professional and physician-grade supplements. We highly recommend buying your supplements through our Fullscript dispensary due to the unscrupulous behaviors of some other supplement companies, high rates of counterfeits, and low-quality supplements online. DeNANCEA also offers 10% off supplements bought from our dispensary.

How do I prepare for a New Patient Telehealth Visit?

1. Complete all paperwork and set up your patient portal at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
2. Be in a well-lit room or environment. 
2. Be in your natural state as much as possible. Limit makeup or totally avoid. 
3. Have a flashlight available. Phone light can be used as well
4. If you have any of these (thermometer, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor, and weighing scale), please have them handy.
5. Have access to a flat surface like sofa, couch or a table you can lie back on during parts of the physical exam.

NOTE: All patients under 18 must have a guardian or parent present during the appointment.
